How to find the Credit Card Code (CVV / CVC) on a credit card?

For Visa or MasterCard, the Credit Card Code is a 3-digit security code printed on the back of the card.

For American Express, the Credit Card Code is a 4-digit security code on the front of the card, above the credit card number.
